UGA, a key player in employability in the region and internationally

Through its research-based training, its exceptional innovation ecosystem, and its close partnerships with businesses, Université Grenoble Alpes has established itself as a key player in skills development and employability. This result reflects its scientific excellence, the quality of the support offered to students, the commitment of its teaching staff, and the strength of Grenoble's economic fabric, which is focused on the technological, scientific, and societal challenges of tomorrow.

“This international recognition highlights the relevance of our educational model, which is based on research, openness, and close ties with the socio-economic world,” emphasizes Yassine Lakhnech, President of Université Grenoble Alpes. “It reflects the confidence that employers place in our graduates, who are trained to meet today's major challenges.”

A global ranking based on recruiters' opinions

Based on a survey of more than 12,000 executives and recruitment managers from 42 countries, this 15th edition of the ranking assesses universities' ability to train the most employable graduates according to companies' expectations.

Respondents identify the institutions they consider to be the most effective at preparing students for the world of work, based on several criteria:
  • the match between the skills acquired and the needs of the market,
  • the academic and professional reputation of the institutions,
  • the quality of research and innovation,
  • preparation for internationalization and new technologies.
