Scholarships and financial aid

Candidates are recommended to apply for a grant at least one year before their registration at a French institution.

Campus Scholarships

The tool lists all of the assistance provided by the States (French and foreign), regional authorities, companies, foundations and institutes of higher education. Filter your search by nationality, field and level of studies to find the assistance that corresponds to your profile.

The most well-known scholarships available include:

  • Master scholarships from the Excellence Initiative Idex
    Applications are open to students currently enrolled in a university abroad, who are applying for one of the master's degrees offered by the faculties of the University Grenoble Alpes.
  • Eiffel excellence scholarships (graduate degrees)
    From the French Ministry of foreign affairs and international development.
  • Eiffel excellence scholarships (PhD degrees)
    From the French Ministry of foreign affairs and international development.
  • Financing from the Franco-Italian University
    For Vinci calls for projects for dual national graduate or PhD students.
  • Graduate excellence scholarships from PERSYVAL-Lab
    The "Université Grenoble Alpes", through its excellence center (LabEx) Persyval-lab, launches a scholarship program for attracting exceptional candidates in the second year of one of its master's degree related to the Persyval-lab disciplines: Computer Science, Control, Mathematics and Signal Processing.
  • Chemistry Biology Health graduate school
    CBH Graduate School funds one-year mobility scholarships for foreign students who come to study at Université Grenoble Alpes for a Master's degree (first year M1 or second year M2).
  • ERASMUS+ scholarships
    The Erasmus program offers grants for international mobility university exchanges. Students must apply to their home university.
  • French government scholarships
    Find out more information from the cooperation and cultural action services of the embassy or consulate-general of France in your country of origin.
  • Scholarships from the government of your country of origin
    Find out more information from the educational authorities of your country.
Please note: only Campus France offers scholarships from the French government to students. Under no circumstances should you pay fees to organizations using social networks or non-institutional email addresses (gmail, yahoo...) to contact you.
