In April 2021, Université Grenoble Alpes was awarded the "HR Excellence in research" label by the European Commission to institutions that commit to the "Human resources strategy for researchers" (HRS4R) approach. This label recognizes organizations that implement the 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers in their human resources policy.
