Laboratories of excellence (LABEX)
The laboratories of excellence (LABEX) aim to foster the emergence of ambitious scientific projects that are visible on an international scale, carried out by laboratories or groups of laboratories in all territories and in all disciplines, including in the humanities and social sciences.
The Labexes are endowed with exceptional funding, in particular for the recruitment or retention in France of very high-level scientists or scientists with high potential, for the improvement and operation of equipment enabling them to strengthen their scientific excellence and their international positioning, or for the implementation of innovative educational projects. The 14 Labex of Grenoble Alpes University
