Applying using the eCandidat application

Your circumstances mean you must apply using the eCandidat application.

Step 1: consult the courses open to applicants and course choice calendars

Calendars for applications vary depending on the course and begin on February 20, 2024.

Check that the course you wish to register for is managed by this application in the section "Consulter les formations" of the eCandidat application. You can view the websites for establishments associated with courses to see specific calendars for applications. Some courses have several application campaigns.

Step 2: create your file

  1. You must enter your application file online and make a maximum of 4 wishes for the whole university.
  2. Check your e-mail frequently: at each stage of the procedure, messages are sent to keep you informed of the processing of your application.
  3. You will receive an e-mail informing you that your application has been received. If your application is incomplete, you must log on to eCandidat to find out which documents are missing or incomplete, and to re-submit them.
  4. Requests are studied by the establishment's admissions committee.
  5. Once the committee has examined your file, you will receive a message informing you of the outcome of your application (favorable, unfavorable, complementary list, etc.).
  6. Students who have received a favorable decision must log in again to confirm their application or withdraw.
  7. Students who have confirmed their application receive a message indicating that they are authorized to register, and information on how to register.
  8. In most cases, registration is carried out online.
  9. If you are a student from another French university and your application is accepted, you must transfer your file from your home university to Université Grenoble Alpes.
