Applying on Mon Master, the national platform for Master degrees applications

See the range of courses on offer: from February 3rd, 2025

On Mon Master (website in French), you can access the presentation sheets of the available Master programs with their specific characteristics, including the requirements (skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in each program).

Maine Phase: from February 25, 2025

From February 25 to March 24, 2025: Create a file and enter your wishes on Mon Master

The first step is to create your individual Mon Master profile in which you fill in your name, contact information and academic background. You will then be given a profile number and a confidential code, allowing you to see the programs on offer and apply.

Once application is open, you can apply for a maximum of 15 Master degrees in traditional training and 15 Master degrees in work-study training. It will also be possible to apply for several courses in the same field.

From June 2nd to 16 June 2025: Receipt and acceptance of proposals

From June 2nd, 2025, you must log on to the platform and take note of the admission proposals made to you.

Please note
Answers to work-study applications may be sent to you on May 2nd, 2025.
For each of your applications, there are 3 possible results:
  • Positive response
  • Waiting for an opening
  • Negative response
You must reply within the deadline indicated by the platform.

Possible scenarios:
  • If you receive only one admission offer, you can accept or decline it. However, it is unwise to give up a single admission offer, as there is no guarantee that you will receive a new offer.
  • If you are offered several admissions, you can only accept one of them, the one that corresponds to the course that best suits your needs. When you accept a proposal, you give up the other proposals and free up places that can be offered to other candidates.
  • If you only have pending offers, you must wait until the admission phase has been completed and you may receive an offer.
  • If you have accepted a proposal while waiting for a place on other courses, and you wish to keep one or more of these pending wishes, you must indicate this clearly for each one, otherwise these pending wishes will be deleted.
  • If you accept an offer of admission to the Université Grenoble Alpes, you will then need to complete your administrative registration according to the school's timetable.
  • If you are not admitted to any course, you can reapply during the complementary phase (you cannot apply for a course for which you have already been rejected during the main phase).

Complementary phase: from June 17 to July 17, 2025

The main phase will be followed by a complementary phase. This will be open to all applicants who have not accepted a definitive offer during the main phase. At the end of the complementary phase, all provisionally accepted admission proposals become definitive.
Reminder: you cannot apply for a course for which you have already been rejected in the main phase.

Create a file and enter your wishes on Mon Master (waiting for information)

Applications will be accepted for 10 master's degrees in conventional training and 10 master's degrees in sandwich courses. As a result, it will be possible to apply for several courses in the same field.

Receipt and acceptance of proposals (waiting for information)

You must log on to the platform and take note of the admission proposals made to you.

Who is concerned?

The national platform is intended for students who hold (or are preparing to earn) a national Bachelor's degree or another degree that gives access to the Master programs, whether they are French or nationals of the European Economic Area, Andorra, Switzerland or Monaco, as well as residents of a country outside of the “Études en France” system.

Some applicants will not be concerned by this system:
  • Applicants of foreign nationality (except nationals of the European Economic Area, Andorra, Switzerland or Monaco) whose country of residence depends on the Études en France portal (PEF).
  • Students repeating their first year of the Master program.
  • Applicants wishing to be admitted to the first year of the Master program through a validation of professional and personal experience (VAPP).
  • Applicants wishing to benefit from a validation of higher education (VES) or a validation of acquired experience (VAE).
  • Courses available through the competitive examination of journalism schools.
  • Courses leading to the award of a Master degree by an academic jury.
  • Students whose curriculum automatically qualifies them for admission to the first year of a Master degree, particularly students in the Master's degree program in engineering (CMI).
