The Conversation

Université Grenoble Alpes opened an online media platform called The Conversation, a website combining academic expertise and journalistic know-how to offer the general public free, independent and quality information. The articles on The Conversation are all written by experts at UGA, and cover a vast array of disciplines and themes.

Promote scientific events for the general public

Ma thèse en 180 secondes

Summarize years of research in 3 minutes, in simple and fun terms, all in front of an expert jury and a non-specialist audience: this is the challenge put to UGA’s PhD students in the international competition "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" ("My thesis in 180 seconds").

Two to three times a year, eminent scientists and Nobel Laureates are invited to take part in a “Conférences d’exception”– “exceptional lectures” open to all students, faculty, staff and local residents that cover topics from sustainable economy to life on exoplanets.
