Fostering projects led by young researchers and academic staff

A support system for starting up a research project for early-stage researchers and academic staff recruited less than 3 years ago, excluding periods of cessation of activities (sickness, maternity, parental, etc.).
This system is operated by the research departments (lien vers les pôles) within the framework of the Strategic Research Initiatives (IRS) Program.

For academic staff, this initiative complements the “teaching service development system”.
Since 2017, 148 newly recruited staff have benefited from this scheme for a total amount of €2.75 million.
