Council of deans

The Council of deans is headed by the President and is composed of the 6 Directors of the academic divisions.
Together with the Presidency, the Council of deans represents the steering bodies of the university. It elaborates recommendations that the Board and the Academic Council then debate and approve.

It is composed of:

  • The President of Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA)
  • The Directors of the 6 divisions
In this configuration, it handles the human resources policy, asset strategy, budgets and resources, training issues, student life and communications.

The Council of deans includes the national research institutions (CEA, CNRS, Inria and Inserm) to tackle regional and international affairs, research, development and partnerships.
