In April 2021, UGA obtained the “HR Excellence in research” award, given to schools that take part in the HRS4R “Human Resources Strategy for Researchers” process. This award highlights organizations that implement the 40 principles from the “European Charter for Researchers” and the “Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers” within their human resources policy.
These two texts define, in 40 points, on the one hand, the roles and responsibilities of researchers, university lecturers, professors and researchers, and staff who contribute to research activities, and on the other hand, the recommendations allowing their employees to improve their working, training and recruitment conditions, with a view to making scientific careers and researcher mobility more attractive.
