Awareness-raising activities for Equality have also been carried out, in particular among all students at the component institutions of Université Grenoble Alpes since September 2018.
800 participants took part in the many initiatives organized during the week of education and action against racism at the Saint Martin d'Hères university campus from 18 to 22 March 2019.
This event was an opportunity to sign the Metropolitan charter "Partenaires-Egalité" in the presence of Frédéric Potier, Interministerial Delegate for the fight against racism, anti-Semitism and anti-LGBT hatred, and Christophe Ferrari, President of Grenoble-Alpes Métropole.
Université Grenoble Alpes is also involved in the network of "racism-anti-Semitism" focal points in higher education and research institutions set up as part of the 2015 "Great mobilization of schools for the values of the Republic" plan.
The Week of Education and Action against Racism has been winner of the call for projects of the National Institute for Youth and Popular Education (INJEP). It was organized with the support of the DILCRAH and Grenoble-Alpes Métropole.

Education and Action Week against Racism, Anti-Semitism and Discrimination

The organization, at the end of March 2019, of the first edition of the week of education and action against racism, anti-Semitism and discrimination, supported by the DILCRAH in partnership with student associations, made possible to offer to students from Grenoble and Valence, as well as to the staff, a wide range of free activities: theatre-forum, gesticulated conference, debates, screenings, workshops... on racism, gender equality, disability, anti-LGBT+ hatred, etc.
