The Lautaret Garden is located at an altitude of 2,100 meters at the Lautaret Pass in the Hautes-Alpes. For over 100 years, this garden has maintained and preserved an extensive collection of 2,000 species of mountain flowers from around the world, set in an exceptional landscape overlooking the Meije glaciers.

Perched at an altitude of 1,200 meters, in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, the École de Physique des Houches has been training generations of top-tier scientists since 1951. A true cradle of modern physics that has produced more than fifty future Nobel laureates, this high-altitude campus combines the rigor of cutting-edge research with the serenity of the mountains to foster scientific creativity.

This one-of-a-kind campus is home to Cermosem, the Ardèche branch of the Institute of Urban Planning and Alpine Geography at the University of Grenoble Alpes.
