    Université Grenoble Alpes On July 3, the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA), alongside its institutional and academic partners, inaugurated the Center for Integrated Health Research (CReSI): a new flagship facility located in the heart of UGA’s Health Campus in La Tronche. Bringing together researchers, clinicians, engineers, technology platforms, and innovation stakeholders under one roof, the CReSI is a strategic, unifying facility dedicated to serving patients. Its ambition is to become a national and European center of excellence focused on three major scientific priorities: health technologies, chronic diseases, and aging and independence.

    Europe and Japan Are Stepping Up Their Scientific Cooperation on Strategic Digital Technologies

    Gathered in Brussels on June 25 and 26, 2026, more than 70 university leaders, researchers, industry representatives, and institutional representatives from 15 countries took a new step forward in building Europe-Japan scientific cooperation focused on critical digital technologies. Co-founded by theUniversité Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and the University of Tsukuba, the Europe-Japan Network for Digital Foundations is establishing itself as a strategic platform for artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum technologies, and sustainable digital technologies. An initial white paper outlining common research priorities will be published in the coming weeks.
