TheUniversité Grenoble Alpes (UGA) has announced the results of the 2026 Call for Proposals for Cross-Disciplinary Programs (CDP). A total of 11 projects were selected and will receive a total of 10 million euros in funding.
The call for proposals is organized into two categories:
- One designed to foster the emergence of new interdisciplinary scientific communities;
- The other initiative aims to support the extension of CDPs that received certification in 2022, in order to consolidate their efforts, ensure their long-term development, and build sustainable momentum.
A total of 11 projects were selected from among the 29 eligible proposals. This selection includes 7 new projects, funded in the amount of 7,225 k€, and 4 extensions of the 2022 CDP, totaling 2,775 k€. One project was placed on a waiting list. Funding for this project may be confirmed in the fall, subject to the availability of additional funds.
The goal of CDP projects is to provide teams with the human, scientific, technical, and administrative resources needed to create new interdisciplinary scientific communities or strengthen existing ones, in line with UGA’s strategy. This interdisciplinarity is based on effective collaboration between the fields of the humanities and social sciences (HSS) and science, technology, and health (STH).
A report detailing the various stages of the certification process as well as the committee's work will be published shortly.
