Want to become a reservist? Why not you! On November 5, 2026, the UGA will host “National Reservist Day” at MUSE on the university campus.
This event honors the civic commitment of those who have chosen to serve the nation as part of the operational reserve. Their efforts, alongside those of active-duty forces, directly contribute to the security of the French people, the country’s resilience, and the preservation of the bond between the military and the nation.
The Reserve represents a complementary force, drawn from civil society, that enriches our armed forces through the diversity of its members’ backgrounds and skills. It exemplifies the willingness of many of our fellow citizens to contribute their time and expertise to national defense.
A Day of Information and Discussion
Organized by the Isère Departmental Military Delegation, this event will give you the opportunity to learn more and talk with reservists about the terms of service and the missions that may be assigned to reservists within the armed forces.
During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet reservists from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, as well as the Gendarmerie.
