Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the La Remise recycling center. What happens to my clothes and toys after I donate them or drop them off at the drop-off station?
Browsing thrift stores and buying secondhand items are becoming increasingly common practices. But how are clothes and other items sorted? Come discover La Remise’s sorting center. This nonprofit, founded in 1989, supports a job-training program focused on collection,sorting and revaluation made of various materials, mainly textiles.
There are two tour time slots available: from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
