Practical information

COVID-19 pandemic update:
Due to the late starting date of our summer course we are hoping that we can maintain it. The application deadline is therefore extended to April 15th without requiring a deposit before then. At that time, we will inform all applicants on whether it will take place or not.


Eligibility

The program is open to both professionals and students at all levels, but you must be 18 years or older. Some hiking is involved - pack appropriate gear!

At this time, only applications to all three weeks will be received.

Fees and discounts

The full cost is €1550 without accommodation or € 2250 including housing with kitchenette.

Costs include cultural activities and mountain field trips.

Please note that program fees do not cover airfare, most meals, basic sports gear, mandatory medical and repatriation insurance, or other personal expenses.

Payment of a 250€ deposit will be required to confirm your interest, within 30 days of your selection in the program.

Discounts are available for:
  • Early-birds (payment before February 15, 2020);
  • Students from partner institutions.

Credits

While no academic credits are directly provided by the program, your home institution may choose to award you up to 6 European course credits (ECTS) based on the learning outcomes and expected time commitment (105 hours total, 90 contact hours).

Accommodation

The accommodation provided are studios with kitchenette at Résidence Galilée in downtown Grenoble, except for the Bootcamp program students who will stay in individual bedrooms in a student residence, La Maison des Etudiants.

Schedule

Week-ends are off but you will be able to stay in Grenoble if you choose or to travel.
