UGA exchange student wins Australian travel grant
Australian National University student Nathan Kerwood is one of eight students chosen to receive the Nicolas Baudin program travel grant.
Kerwood, who is studying political science and international relations, has chosen to use his grant to come the UGA on exchange.

The grant, offered by the French embassy in Australia, provides financial support to Australian students at all levels who wish to undertake a period of study, research, or professional development in France. Students are selected based on their academic performance, as well as their ties to France and the French language, and how their time in France fits with their research or career plans.

The program is highly selective.

The program is named for French explorer and botanical voyager Nicolas Baudin who charted the coast of New Holland in Australia in 1802.

Congratulations to Mr. Kerwood; we hope his time in Grenoble is both enjoyable and productive.
