The UGA co-organizer of the EAIE international education conference in Seville, Spain
The 29th annual conference of the EAIE (European Association for International Education) is happening this week in Seville, Spain, and the UGA is there.
The international relations leadership team will represent the UGA at the conference, whose theme is ‘a mosaic of cultures.’ Attendees come from all over the world to exchange information and best practices, to present and hear about new research in international education, and to meet with current and prospective partner universities.

As part of its strategy to make the university more visible internationally, the UGA will also be hosting a reception for our current institutional partners, updating them about our advances in research, international projects, and services for international students and personnel in the year and a half since the merger of the three Grenoble universities.

The UGA also works international peers to make presentations at the EAIE ‘expert communities’ sessions. This year, international relations staff will use our experience of the Grenoble university merger to discuss strategies for organizational change management and for internationalization.

Specific goals for the conference include establishing and enriching strategic partnerships, and managing our relations with Great Britain in a post-Brexit world.
