Representatives from a dozen European universities gathered this May in Grenoble to exchange strategies and best practices as part of the Aurora University Network.
Committed to inclusive communities, quality teaching, and research relevant to the world’s pressing problems, Aurora is a network of European universities with shared values and goals.

The Grenoble meeting featured presentations of innovative research on some of today's most pressing social challenges; the plenary session covered topics such as poverty and economic independence, air quality and food security. In addition, working groups meet to improve university performance in bibliometrics, diversity, student mobility and sustainable development.

The event also allowed UGA strategic partners to experience Grenoble and the UGA campus in Saint Martin d'Hères. In addition, about 40 UGA faculty and staff were able to participate in the event.
