The BRAFITEC (BRAsil France Ingénieurs TEChnologie) program was created by Brazil’s CAPES (part of its ministry of education) in cooperation with France’s ministries of foreign affairs and higher education and research.
The Conférence des Directeurs des écoles françaises (CDEFI) d’ingénieurs also contributed.

Brafitec runs as a series of calls for projects/proposals which support student and staff mobility between France and Brazil as well as joint research projects in the domains of engineering.

UGA local partner the Grenoble Institute of Technology is heavily involved with Brafitec, and hosted the 2018 Brafitec forum in Grenoble in June.
