While exchange mobility provides all of our students with the possibility of adding an international experience to their education, we also develop more structured international programs with select partners.

Leveraging the expertise of faculty in more than one institution, these joint and dual degree programs also allow students to place an international experience at the heart of their degree program.

Partnering with universities selected for their disciplinary strengths, the UGA offers a variety of international dual degrees in fields of study ranging from law to nanotechnology.

Joint and dual degree programs, much like international branch campuses, can also be a means to improve access to higher education, particularly for international students. Some of our dual degrees make use of distance and online learning to allow students without the means to travel or live abroad to earn a UGA degree in their home country. Some students choose to supplement these courses of study with a shorter period in Grenoble -- a chance to meet their peers and professors in person.
