Start UGA’s Festive Day at the Valence Campus! Stop wondering—come find the answer! Get informed, learn more, explore, tour the campus, have fun, relax… and get your school year off to a great start! Come meet your Student Council and student organizations, and celebrate the start of the school year at the university!

An Entertainment Village // From 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Laughter and new knowledge guaranteed! Don’t miss it for anything in the world!
With your map in hand, explore Place Latour-Maubourg and discover all your campus has to offer! Return to your starting point and claim your reward.
The student services teams on hand will share all their secrets and keys to success with you.

Bonus! Come by bike! We promise you a FREE technical inspection (how cool is that?) and anti-theft marking for your bike ! !

The Photo Challenge?! Come compete against other schools and programs!
The school that submits the most photos wins the challenge!
One photo for the contest and one souvenir photo for you (one photo per group).

  • Scavenger Hunt (puzzles/games): Meet at the checkpoints, get your map stamped, and come pick up your UGA gift!

A Village of Organizations // From 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

20 BDE and UGA-partnered or UGA-approved student organizations (CODE, Opium, Bandanas Blancs, Solé'Val, AFEV…).
Representatives from the Valence Student Association and the UGA Student Life Office (student initiatives, community engagement, and safety in nightlife settings).

Food trucks and an evening of live music and a DJ // From 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

  • Musisar, a student group 
  • Hypernova, a pop-rock band from the Drôme region, covering Coldplay songs
  • Student DJ Sets 
  • Trombone & Diabolo Interludes by former UGA students who are top-level artists
