The Mélilots Farm will open its doors on Saturday, October 3, to give visitors a glimpse into its vegetable farming operations as well as its beehives.
Have you ever visited a farm? The four farmers at the Ferme des Mélilots grow organic fruits and vegetables and produce honey just 10 minutes from the university campus. Established in 2023 in the Taillat area as part of a project with Grenoble Alpes Métropole, they’re opening their doors on Saturday, October 3, to give tours of their farm, host a farmers’ market, and offer a communal meal.
This is also an opportunity to learn about a four-person farming operation in a suburban area and to discover alternative approaches and new agricultural projects developing right in your neighborhood.
As part of Food Transition Month, organized by Grenoble Alpes Métropole.
