The LPO Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has been monitoring the nesting habits of peregrine falcons and kestrels for several years, particularly in urban areas. Initially installed in the Loire region, the webcams mounted on artificial nest boxes have expanded, and today there are four cameras filming the pairs 24 hours a day during the nesting season.
The cameras were installed by LPO volunteer and falcon expert Jean-Pascal Faverjon, in partnership with the UGA, Covivio - Lyon, and the municipalities of Châteauneuf and Saint-Chamond.
