Check out and share the new awareness kit on hazing and gender-based and sexual violence!
The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Space has supported the creation of new resources developed by the CPED to raise awareness among the student community about the issues surrounding hazing and student student union (VSS) activities that may occur in this context. This awareness-raising kit was produced in collaboration with student associations (FAGE, Observatoire des VSS, ANEMF, ANESTAPS, etc.) and the production company MAKE CHANGE. It is fully in line with the ministry’s plan to combat VSS and the UGA’s commitments to preventing all forms of violence.
An Awareness Kit
The awareness kit includes:
Two themed videos :
“The Origins and Mechanisms of Hazing” (3 min).
“Gender-Based and Sexual Violence at Orientation Parties” (4 min).
A communication kit consisting of:
Informational posters to be distributed throughout the departments
Variations for social media.
A companion booklet to help you understand the issues at stake, the design choices, and the content of the materials. A bibliography is also included.
How should this communications kit be distributed?
You can show the videos during the start of the academic year on the screens in your departments and make them available on your websites and social media platforms.
As for the communications kit, you can promote it widely on your websites, share it on your social media platforms, and print and display the posters in high-traffic areas on your campuses.
