As a founding partner of Tech&Fest, the University of Grenoble Alpes will be present on February 4 and 5, 2026, at Alpexpo for the third edition of this innovation festival, which this year focuses on the theme of sovereignty. At a dedicated booth, UGA will feature a demonstration area to highlight the excellence of its research and the richness of its innovation ecosystem.

As a founding partner of Tech&Fest, the University of Grenoble Alpes reaffirms its role as a key player in Grenoble’s innovation ecosystem. Its participation in the event is part of its ongoing commitment to excellence in research that is open to society and offers solutions to major contemporary challenges.

At its booth, UGA will feature a demonstration area where visitors can meet researchers, entrepreneurs, and project leaders, and learn how the work conducted at UGA translates into concrete innovations. Health, energy, digital technology, and emerging technologies: the diversity of the topics presented will illustrate UGA’s ability to bridge the gap between academic research, innovation, and societal needs.

Also present at the booth will be the business development representatives from the Grenoble Alpes University Innovation Hub, led by UGA, as well as continuing education advisors, who will be available to address companies’ inquiries.

Two days to network and meet innovation leaders at UGA

Designed as a place for meetings and exchanges, the UGA booth will also serve as a space for collective reflection, inviting the public to engage with university teams on current scientific, technological, and societal issues, in a context where the question of sovereignty takes center stage.

At the same time, the University of Grenoble Alpes will participate in several presentations—both on the main stage and in the Agora—to share its expertise and insights on innovation. It will also be present in other areas of the festival, notably the IForum, to showcase innovative projects emerging from its laboratories and its support for the commercialization of research.

Through its involvement as a founding partner in Tech&Fest 2026, alongside local governments and the CEA, the University of Grenoble Alpes reaffirms its commitment to actively contributing to the development of innovative solutions, strengthening the ties between research and society, and helping to shape scientific and technological responses to the challenges of tomorrow.
