Donate blood, save lives!

Announcement Staff Life, Student Life
13, October 2026Saint-Martin-d'Hères - University Campus
Because blood supplies remain as fragile as ever, the French Blood Establishment is organizing another blood drive on campus. To save lives, set aside an hour of your time on October 13 between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Appointments are now being accepted at the DLST!
Did you know you can save three lives? How? All it takes is one hour and a little generosity to donate blood!

"Share your power, donate blood"!

Every day, 10,000 blood donations are needed to meet the needs of patients, including 1,400 in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. To ensure that blood supplies are replenished regularly, it is essential that donors step up throughout the year. To date, no treatment or synthetic medication can replace labile blood products.

The French Blood Establishment (EFS) is therefore appealing to your generosity and organizing another blood drive on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Hall D of the DLST (directions) on the university campus. Held on March 10 and 11, 2026, at Grenoble IAE, the latest campus blood drive brought together 69 students and staff members (out of the 100 expected), including 23 first-time donors, and resulted in 59 units of blood collected for patients. Thank you!

Note: The minimum interval between two blood donations is 8 weeks. If you are unable to participate in this mobile blood drive, you can donate blood at the Maison du Don in Grenoble-La Tronche throughout the year.
