A whimsical and musical journey into the heart of the Musée d’Orsay, based on Christophe Chabouté’s book *Musée*. What if the artworks came to life after the museum closed?

When you visit a museum, have you ever wondered what happens once the doors close? Did you know that the works of Daumier, Ingres, Van Gogh, Renoir, Bourdelle, and Modigliani come to life when night falls? Did you know that the statues step down from their pedestals, that the figures step off their canvases, and gather to chat, share the latest gossip, and discuss the day’s visitors? In this humorous and poetic behind-the-scenes look, *Musée* reminds us humans of our place as mere passersby, as observers who are themselves being observed…

A story accompanied by musical compositions from Cie Faltazi —bass clarinet, double bass—at times tender and playful, at other times more contemporary. The sound effects and dialogue, like a whisper, become a sensitive reflection of the drawings and projected panels by the master of black-and-white, Christophe Chabouté.

An original, whimsical, funny, and devilishly charming show.
