Chris Moulin and Krystian Barzykowski, 2026 recipients of the Franco-Polish Marie Sklodowska Curie and Pierre Curie Award

Chris Moulin, a professor at theUniversité Grenoble Alpes and a researcher at the Laboratory of Psychology and Neurocognition (LPNC - UGA/CNRS/USMB), and Krystian Barzykowski (Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, Jagiellonian University in Kraków), have received the Franco-Polish “Marie Sklodowska Curie and Pierre Curie” Prize, awarded by the French Academy of Sciences and the Polish Science Foundation (FNP).
They are receiving this award for their pioneering work on involuntary autobiographical memory and the phenomenon of “déjà vu,” which offers a new approach to understanding human memory.

The award will be presented to them on October 27, 2026, during the formal session of the Academy of Sciences, under the dome of the Institut de France.

The winners will also have the opportunity to present their research at a public conference at the Academy of Sciences in June 2027.
