Adrien Chareau, a student at theUniversité Grenoble Alpes , will present his 6,000-kilometer bike trip at the Patio de Muse on September 1 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. He is traveling to COP17 (Conference of the Parties) on biodiversity in Yerevan, Armenia, which will take place from October 18 to 30, 2026. He will then continue his journey to COP31 on climate change, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey, from November 9 to 20, 2026.

COPs are international events and decision-making bodies that bring together the signatory states of an international convention. “The goal of this journey is to support the mobilization of civil society and youth organizations during two global summits being held on Europe’s doorstep,” explains the student. So why travel to the COPs by bike? And how do you prepare for a long bike trip? Adrien Chareau will answer these questions before setting off on his journey.
