High-level artists

Université Grenoble Alpes offers special services for students wanting to reconcile their work as a professional artist with their academic career.

What benefits are there to the high-level artist status?

Services are designed to enable students to either:

  • Complete high-level studies at a renowned partner institute for art training: École supérieure d'Art et Design de Grenoble (ESAD), Conservatoire de Grenoble-Valence, Conservatoire de Valence-Romans

 Or

  • Complete a high-level art project, outside the institutes identified, during their studies.

The status offers access to various study and support services. Students with this status may also be eligible for special measures depending on the university, such as access to rehearsal studios. High-level student artists may also qualify for special grants, depending on the award processes for each institute.

How do I apply for the status of high-level artist?

Applications for the status of high-level artist have closed for the academic year 2019-2020.
