Experts from a wide range of disciplines will offer a rich, interdisciplinary view of Alpine history, culture, people and environment, in this short program taught in the heart of the Alps.
Presentation
The program covers natural and earth sciences perspectives on climate change, with topics as diverse as earth sciences, glaciology, risk management, plants and animals... The course takes you beyond the classroom and into the mountains in a series of field trips and case studies tied to the latest in current research.
The program is open to both professionals and students, 18 years or older. The level of this year's edition will be first and second university years. Some hikingis involved - a reasonable level of fitness is therefore required.
