The RISK Summer School 2025 brought together researchers and students to explore decision-making under uncertainty through seminars, panels, and workshops.

Grenoble at the Heart of Risk Research

From August 26 to 28, Université Grenoble Alpes hosted the 4th edition of the RISK Summer School: From Data to Decision-Making under Uncertainty. Free and open to all, the event brought together researchers, students, and partners at the GreEN-ER building in Grenoble.

An Interdisciplinary Immersion

For three days, participants dove into an interdisciplinary journey with scientific seminars, international round tables, and hands-on role-play workshops. Together, they explored fresh ways to think and act when faced with uncertainty. Students from the RISK program also showcased their research to an expert international audience.

An Advanced Day for Young Researchers

The experience continued on August 29 with an advanced workshop for early-career researchers. Led by Swansea University and the Risk Institute, it gave PhD candidates and postdocs the chance to sharpen their skills and expand their international networks.

A Scientific and Human Success

The RISK Summer School 2025 was more than an academic event—it was a vibrant moment of exchange and collaboration, proving once again that interdisciplinary dialogue is key to understanding and managing risk.
