In what circumstances can you apply for reimbursement of your administrative registration?

If you are a student on a grant

If you received a higher education grant (including an interest-free one) after registering, you can ask for your tuition fees to be reimbursed.

As soon as you receive the notification of grant entitlement letter, you need to fill in an application form and send it along with the supporting documents requested.

Forms must be submitted no later than ten days following the date on which you received the notification of grant entitlement letter and, in all cases, by 30 June (for exceptional cases where a grant is awarded late in the day).

Please note:
Preventive medicine fees (€5.10) are not reimbursed.
If paying in three instalments, reimbursement is only possible once the third instalment has been paid.

If you have paid extra fees because of a data entry error during your online registration

For example: registering twice or choosing the wrong profile.

In this case you can ask to be partially reimbursed for your registration.

If you have paid student social security fees during your online registration

You can ask to be reimbursed if you:
  • are entitled
  • have registered twice
  • are an employee (in some cases only, please read the social security document, in French)
You need to send your URSSAF (Social Security and Family Allowance Contribution Collection Office) application. The print-out can be obtained from:
  • your faculty office for science, technology and health (plus geography) courses.
  • bureau no. 15 of the "Admissions/administrative registrations" department, on the ground floor of the Pierre Mendes France building for other courses.
  • Registry Services ("scolarité" department), in the Marguerite Soubeyran building, for art, literature and language courses in Valence.
