15/03/2020 - COVID-19: Information for staff

On the  March 15, 2020
The new measures announced by the Prime Minister on Saturday 15th March have been detailed in an official order published yesterday in the Journal Officiel. Following these measures, and the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation's instructions which follow from these measures and which you will find below, I would like to inform you that as of Monday 16th March, telework will become the rule in order to limit clusters of personnel and travel as much as possible.
All staff are asked to stay at home.

Staff who will be mobilized and can be mobilized under the administrative business continuity plan will be contacted from Monday onwards to define the working arrangements and protection measures concerning them. In order to enable remote working, staff will be able to pick up work tools on site on Monday and Tuesday if necessary.

When teleworking is not possible and the continuity of the activity does not require their presence, staff will be placed on special leave of absence. The human ressources department will send you more details on this point tomorrow.

The continuity of teaching activities is an essential part of the continuity of the public service of higher education and research: in the context of the crisis we are going through, I am counting on each structure’s mobilization, including teaching staff and administrative services, to ensure this continuity.

Particular attention will also be paid to the need to ensure the continuity of laboratory activities and to safeguard research activities that cannot be interrupted.
