The French President announced on Thursday 12th March the closure of all schools and universities in the country, as of Monday 16th March. This closure is expected to last several weeks, during which students will not have physical access to the university buildings, including the university libraries.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Research specifies that all classroom activities in person are cancelled and will gradually be replaced by distance learning activities. Every effort will be made at UGA to ensure the continuity of education and the security of your academic career.

Your relevant structure will soon be in contact to specify the procedure and arrangements put in place to ensure the continuity of all aspects of education. Remote library services are maintained. All students and staff will be able to access the entirety of our digital collections.

All events and community, cultural and sporting activities and events organized on campus or by the university are cancelled until further notice.

The administrative and technical services of the Université Grenoble Alpes will continue to work, and will be accessible to you by e-mail at uga-accueil@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr.
