Activities

The DLST coordinates and manages the ten Bachelor's degree specialisms in the field of sciences, technologies and health (except for STAPS and MIASHS).

The DLST handles educational management and coordination – in cooperation with the disciplinary facilities relevant to the basic sciences (UFR PhITEM, UFR IM2AG, UFR in Chemistry and Biology) – for the three years of the Sciences, Technologies and Health Bachelor's degree. It is more specifically responsible for the organisation and management of first and second year (L1 and L2) teaching as third year teaching – and some L2 teaching – takes place within disciplinary UFRs (Teaching and Research Units). The DLST also organises teaching for DAEU B (Access Diploma for Scientific University Studies).

After a multi-disciplinary first semester, the degree will steadily become more specialised.

Lead by research professors, the courses are strongly linked to research, with a significant portion reserved for experiments, within DLST platforms for practicals or UFRs, or even research laboratories.

Partnerships

The Sciences & Design route is offered in partnership with the ENSCI – Les Ateliers (National School of Industrial Creation).

Other innovative course routes are emerging in connection with other Université Grenoble Alpes departments (Sciences & Musicology for example).
